  • "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions and any documents incorporated by reference.

  • "We / Us / Our" refers to Synaptiq, a school for AI development registered and operating in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

2 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Service or completing a course enrolment, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have obtained parental or guardian consent.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • You accept these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.

If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please discontinue use of the Service and refrain from enrolment.

3 Service Description

Synaptiq provides structured online learning programmes focused on AI development. Courses are delivered entirely online and are available to learners globally. Our current course offerings include:

  • Foundations of AI Development — a structured starter course covering core programming for data work, the fundamentals of machine learning, and practical exercises in a community study group environment.
  • Applied Model Building — a project-based course involving real datasets, milestone-based mentor feedback, code reviews, and a portfolio-ready project.
  • Capstone & Mentorship Track — an extended programme combining advanced subject matter, one-to-one mentorship with working practitioners, and a substantial capstone project with a structured presentation.

We reserve the right to adjust, update, or discontinue any course offering with reasonable notice. Where a course is discontinued after enrolment, affected learners will be notified and offered a suitable resolution.

4 User Accounts

Access to course materials may require the creation of a learner account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities conducted through your account.

Accounts are personal and may not be shared, transferred, or sold to any other individual. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts where misuse is suspected or confirmed.

5 User Responsibilities

Users of the Service agree to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful, lawful, and consistent with the educational purpose of the platform. You agree not to:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content without written authorisation.
  • Submit work that is not your own without appropriate attribution.
  • Use the platform or its tools for any purpose that is unlawful or harmful to others.
  • Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data that are not yours.
  • Impersonate another learner, instructor, or staff member.
  • Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or disruptive content in any community or discussion space.

Synaptiq maintains the right to remove content or restrict access where these responsibilities are not met.

6 Intellectual Property

All course materials, platform content, branding, and related resources are the intellectual property of Synaptiq or its content contributors. By enrolling in a course, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal learning purposes.

This licence does not permit you to:

  • Copy or reproduce materials for distribution to others.
  • Use materials in any commercial context without written permission.
  • Adapt or create derivative works based on course content.

Where learners submit original work — such as project code, written exercises, or capstone presentations — they retain ownership of their own contributions. By submitting work through the platform, you grant Synaptiq a non-exclusive licence to use that work for educational review, feedback, and internal quality assessment purposes.

7 Payment Terms

Course fees are displayed in Thai Baht (฿) and are payable in full at the time of enrolment unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed in writing. Current course fees are:

  • Foundations of AI Development: ฿4,420
  • Applied Model Building: ฿7,480
  • Capstone & Mentorship Track: ฿10,880

Prices are subject to change. Any change will be clearly communicated and will not affect confirmed enrolments.

Refund Policy: Requests for a full refund may be considered where a request is submitted within seven (7) days of payment and prior to the commencement of course access. Once materials have been accessed, refunds are not available as a general policy. Exceptional circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please write to [email protected] to submit a request.

8 Course Enrolment

Enrolment in a course gives you access to the designated materials and learning structures for the duration specified at the time of enrolment. Specific terms include:

  • Access duration is defined per course and communicated at point of enrolment.
  • Academic integrity is expected throughout. Submitting another person's work as your own is not acceptable.
  • Completion recognition may be issued upon satisfaction of all course requirements, where applicable. This is a record of participation and learning, not an external professional qualification.
  • Mentor access, where included in a course, is subject to agreed scheduling and availability.

9 Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. While we work to maintain high quality across all course materials and support structures, Synaptiq makes no representations regarding:

  • Specific outcomes resulting from completing a course.
  • The suitability of course content for any particular professional or employment purpose.
  • Uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform at all times.

Courses offered by Synaptiq are educational in nature and are not intended as professional advice of any kind. Any application of skills or knowledge gained through our courses is undertaken at the learner's own discretion.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Thai law, Synaptiq's total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific course to which the claim relates.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of data, or loss of opportunity. This limitation applies regardless of the basis of the claim.

Force majeure events — including natural disasters, government actions, or infrastructure failures outside our reasonable control — shall not give rise to liability under these Terms.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Synaptiq, its staff, mentors, and partners harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses — including reasonable legal costs — arising from your use of the Service in a manner that breaches these Terms, violates applicable law, or infringes the rights of any third party.

12 Termination

Either party may bring the enrolment relationship to a close at any time. Users may request account closure by contacting us in writing. Synaptiq may suspend or terminate access where Terms have been materially breached, with notice provided where reasonably possible.

Upon termination, your licence to access course materials ends. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.

13 Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising shall first be addressed through an informal resolution process — please contact us at [email protected] and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter within 30 days.

Where informal resolution is not achieved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

14 General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitutes the complete agreement between you and Synaptiq regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: Failure by Synaptiq to enforce any provision at any time does not waive its right to enforce that provision in the future.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our prior written consent.
  • Notices: Notices from us will be sent to the email address associated with your account. Notices to us should be sent to [email protected].

15 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our courses, applicable law, or operational practice. Where changes are material, we will communicate these via email or a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service following notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
